  • Do I need to pay for this?
    The current beta version is free. If you choose to have a class with a Sāge, you can opt to leave a tip at the end of the session. Tips are not compulsory but strongly encouraged. For some retirees, this supplemental income is very important.
  • I found a cool story, can I chat with the person?"
    Sure! You can chat with a Sage on Zoom according to their availability. Under their timeline, just click "I want to to join the open chat" and sign up to a time from the options below.
  • Why would I want to book a 1:1 or group session?
    We have all tried a Massive Open Online Class (MOOC) or a webinar and didn’t get the targeted attention we wanted and were left with unanswered questions. Learning gets so much better and easier when it’s personalized. Here, you will connect to and learn from members of a community with years of experience. They don’t just say that they can do it – they HAVE been doing it for decades. These ARE the experts. These conversations are relevant to developing your career, hobbies, and any other skill you may want to learn. Plus, you develop a personal relationship - and life is kind of all about that.
  • How many people can join a group session?
    1-4 people at a time. That means 3 new friends for you, with similar interests and curiosities.
  • I loved the first chat and we both want to continue. What do I do now?
    We are so happy to hear that. At the end of the chat there is an option to schedule another chat. If you missed this option, not to worry. Please contact us with “Next chat - Sage name” in the subject line. We will help you set up the follow-up class.
  • Are the chats recorded?
    For safety reasons, chats are automatically recorded. However, if both you and your Sāge agree, recording for the second chat and beyond can be disabled by contacting us beforehand.
  • Will I get a reminder before my chat?
    Of course! 1 day before the scheduled chat, you will get a reminder email, which will again include the Zoom link.
  • How can I cancel / reschedule my chat?
    Life happens, we understand – but please do consider the this time that your Sage has put in preparing for your chat and is likely looking forward to it. Therefore, we ask that if you need to cancel, please do so no less than 24 hours before the booking.
  • What if I've never used Zoom before?
    That is not a problem at all. Just contact us and we will set up a call to guide you through it step by step.
  • Can I add a story for someone else?
    We will soon launch a feature to add stories on someone's behalf (your mother, father, grandparent etc). Stay tuned!


Sages offer two pre-scheduled sessions per month. sĀge users can opt to leave a tip at the end of the session, or to continue for 1:1 sessions with the Sage at a fixed rate. Tips are not compulsory but strongly encouraged.


We are proud that 100% of tips go directly to the Sages.
