PowerPoint Show-and-Tell

60 min (coming soon)

Overview

A dynamic presentation that shows you how to use PowerPoint, but more so an inspiration to challenge yourself to learn something new. Get ready to be inspired and motivated!

What will I learn in 20 minutes?

This session includes a short verbal introduction, followed by a humorous and informative presentation and a discussion with Sarah where you can share new things you want to try, and leave inspired to challenge yourself.

_____________

Sarah undertook to create a presentation for the 100th anniversary of her lawn-bowling club.  To do so, she spent about three months teaching herself all the features of PowerPoint until she came up with an amazing show - including animations, music and narration.

This demonstration will teach you some cool tricks in powerpoint, but more importantly is the underlying message Sarah leaves you with: 'It doesn’t matter how old you are and what you are trying to achieve; you have to try new things to figure out what it is you want to do.'

Sarah Hartt-Snowbell was born in Montreal and now lives in Thornhill, Ontario ... just a stone's throw north of Toronto.  She dabbles in many creative hobbies and is always open to new ventures.  Since her retirement as a medical secretary, she’s had several children’s books and short stories published, and has adorned her walls with her many drawings and oil paintings.  Sarah has no problem filling her spare time – solving tough sudokus, lawn-bowling, ten-pin bowling, crocheting and reading.  She has two children, nine grandchildren and a growing population of great-grandchildren. You can find some of her creative work on her website.

Sarah's Reviews

This is a great opportunity for a quick and informative lesson. I enjoyed the presentation and Sarah's enthusiasm. Well done! Thank you and all the best
